Coolidge Corner Theatre
Museum of Fine Arts Boston
Join us for a vibrant program of new film premieres and rare archive treasures from around the world, with visiting filmmakers and scholars. NCJF’s Annual Festival is an outgrowth of our broader work. Since 1976, The National Center for Jewish Film (NCJF) has rescued, restored, and exhibited films that document the diversity of Jewish life. The Center’s collection of films with Jewish content is one of the world’s largest.

The Arts Fuse feature by Peter Keough. DocTalk: Documenting Defiance–Two Portraits of Courage at the National Center for Jewish Film Festival. “Claude Lanzmann’s haunted pursuit of testimony and Henrietta Szold’s humanitarian legacy illuminate the enduring power of courage and conscience. Two of the documentaries in this year’s National Center for Jewish Film’s Festival focus on fighters who responded to the evils of a broken world not with despair or compliance but with a fierce commitment to projects that have brought about historic change”: Guillaume Ribot’s All I Had Was Nothingness (April 14 Coolidge Corner Theatre). Abby Ginzberg’s Labors of Love: The Life and Legacy of Henrietta Szold (April 12)
